🛡️ Moderator Playbook

Citizens watch how we speak and act. Use these standards whenever you moderate, review tickets, or coach other staff.

• Lead together: Do not undermine another moderator or admin in public chat, the arena, or hospital. If you disagree, move the conversation to staff chat or DM first.
• Help before heat: Offer coaching, context, or links to policy excerpts before escalating to punishments when safety allows.
• Share the load: If you step away, note pending tickets or investigations in the moderator log so the next person can pick it up.
• Back each call: If a citizen questions a teammate’s action, support the ruling and route appeals through Support instead of debating live.
• Escalate fast: Ping the owner/admin immediately if a staff member is compromised, abusing tools, or needs backup.

Remember: staff disagreements stay in staff spaces. Citizens should only see unity, clarity, and help.

💰 Production System

Buy workers to generate CASH passively. Each worker produces cash per second with exponential costs.

• Street Vendor: 1 cash/s, costs 10 cash (base)
• Scrap Collector: 10 cash/s, costs 1,000 cash
• Dish Washer: 100 cash/s, costs 45,000 cash
• Panhandler: 500 cash/s, costs 500,000 cash
• Blacksmith: 10,000 cash/s, costs 2,500,000 cash
• Cost Scaling: Each unit costs 1.15x more than the previous one
• Milestones: Buy 10, 50, 100, 500, 1,000, or 10,000 units for production multipliers (2x)

⬆️ Efficiency Upgrades

Buy efficiency upgrades to multiply unit production. Stack multipliers for exponential growth.

• Unit-Specific Upgrades: Each worker type has 2 efficiency tiers (2x and 2x multiplier)
• Town Productivity I: 5,000 cash → 1.5x ALL unit production
• Town Productivity II: 500,000 cash → 2x multiplier for all (requires Tier I)
• Stacking: All multipliers combine multiplicatively for massive gains

⚔️ Battle System

Fight enemies in the Battle tab to gain cash rewards. Each fight costs 20 energy.

• Turn-Based Combat: Higher ACC attacks first each round. Hits/misses logged in real-time.
• Hit Chance: 85% base + (Your ACC - Enemy DEX) × 0.5%
• Damage Calculation: Your STR × 1.0 - Enemy DEF × 0.5, plus equipment bonuses
• Enemy Tiers: 10+ enemies ranging from Goblins (20 HP, 20 cash) to Eternal Dragons (800 HP, 2000 cash)
• Equipment Bonuses: Weapons add ATK, Armor adds DEF, Accessories grant special bonuses
• Victory Display: 🎉 on win, 💀 on defeat. Losing gives 30 damage penalty instead of death.

✨ Enchantment System

Apply powerful enchantments to weapons to boost combat effectiveness. Each weapon holds up to 3 enchantments.

• How to Enchant: Select a weapon in the Enchant tab, then choose an enchantment to apply
• Cost: Each enchantment costs souls (10-45 souls depending on effect)
• Success Rate: Enchantments may fail! Success rates range from 50% to 85%
• Risky Rewards: You LOSE souls even if enchantment fails! Plan carefully.
• Permanent: Once applied, enchantments cannot be removed
• Types: Sharpness, Flaming, Frostbite, Life Steal, Precision, Ethereal, Bloodlust, Swift Strike, Vampiric
• Stacking: Multiple enchantments on one weapon stack bonuses additively

🛍️ Equipment & Mounts

Purchase weapons, armor, accessories, and mounts to boost combat stats and special effects.

• Weapons: Balanced, ATK-focused, and ACC-focused options. Range from 50 to 500,000 cash.
• Armor: Light armor (high DEX), Balanced, Heavy armor (high DEF). Range from 100 to 1,000,000 cash.
• Accessories: Rings, Amulets, Necklaces, Brooches, Charms, Cloaks, Talismans, Crowns, Blessings. Add bonuses and happiness.
• Mounts: Horse, Dire Wolf, Griffin, Giant Tortoise, Black Dragon, Phoenix. Add special effects (production, XP, defense, damage, healing).
• Equip System: One item per slot. Bonuses from all slots stack multiplicatively.
• Cost Scaling: Better equipment costs exponentially more but provides much greater bonuses.

💪 Gym Training

Allocate your energy to train four core stats. Balance stat allocation for optimal growth.

• How It Works: Drag sliders to allocate energy. Total cannot exceed available energy.
• Energy Coefficient: Allocated energy × 0.324 = stat points. 100 energy = ~32 total stat points
• Happiness Multiplier: Each happiness point adds +1% to gym gains. 10 happiness = +10% efficiency!
• Stat Caps by Level: Level 1-20: 5k cap, 20-40: 20k, 40-60: 60k, 60-80: 150k, 80+: 250k
• Strength (STR): Increases base damage in combat (+5 damage per point)
• Dexterity (DEX): Boosts damage and defense (+1.5 damage/defense per point)
• Accuracy (ACC): Improves hit chance and critical accuracy
• HP: Increases max health pool directly

🏠 Properties & Happiness

Buy properties and upgrade them to increase happiness, which boosts gym training gains!

• Available Properties: Shack (starter), Studio, Townhouse, Mansion, Penthouse (250k cash)
• Permanent Upgrades: Painting, Furniture, Kitchen, Bedroom, Library, Theater, Bar, Lounge - provide long-term happiness
• Limited-Time Upgrades (7 days): Candle Light, Mood Lighting, Plants, Garden, Pool, Spa, Observatory, Helipad, Rooftop - expire after 7 days
• Happiness Effect: +1% gym gains per happiness point. Only active property contributes happiness.
• Strategy: Balance permanent and limited upgrades. Repurchase limited upgrades to maintain happiness bonus.

✨ Prestige & Souls

Reset your progress to earn permanent multipliers via soul upgrades that persist across resets.

• Souls Earned: sqrt(totalCash / 100) rounded down
• Soul Upgrades Available: Production multipliers (x1.01/x1.02/x1.05), Click power boosts, Combat stat boosters, Idle income, XP gains, Energy regeneration, Health pool
• Cost Scaling: Each purchase increases cost by 1.08x (exponential)
• Strategy: Prestige when earned ~50M+ cash for good soul returns. Prioritize production multipliers early.
• Preserved on Reset: Souls, permanent soul upgrades, player name, and avatar persist

⚡ Energy & Resources

Manage your most limited resource carefully. Energy regenerates automatically.

• Max Energy: 100 (starting value)
• Regen Time: 2 minutes (120 seconds) for full regen
• Uses: Battles (20 per fight), Gym training (variable allocation)
• Other Resources: Courage, Morality, Health also regenerate every 2 minutes
• Soul Upgrades: Increase max energy and regeneration rate for better resource management

🏆 Achievements & Progression

Unlock achievements across multiple categories to earn gold and unlock prestige benefits.

• Achievement Categories: Clicking, Battles, Dragon Slayer, Wealth, Properties, Units, Equipment, Enchanting, Leveling
• Tier System: Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum. Each tier has higher targets and better rewards.
• Gold Rewards: Completing achievements grants gold (50-2500 depending on tier)
• Examples: Click Master (100-10,000 clicks), Combatant (10-1,000 battle wins), Dragon Slayer (5-500 dragon defeats)
• Prestige Mechanic: Reset to prestige and earn souls. Your achievement progress persists!

📱 Multi-Device Sync

Play on PC and phone simultaneously with real-time automatic synchronization.

• Real-Time Sync: Changes made on one device appear on the other within 1-2 seconds
• No Manual Refresh: Automatic detection and UI updates without requiring page reload
• Timestamp-Based: Uses last-write-wins conflict resolution to prevent data loss
• Cloud Saves: All data synced to Firestore for persistent cross-device saves
• Same Email: Must be logged in with same Gmail account on both devices
• Automatic Sync: Idle income, battle rewards, upgrades, and stats all sync automatically
• Admin Changes: Admin panel changes sync instantly to all player devices

Compete with other players across 10 different leaderboard categories.

• Real-Time Ranking: Top 50 players displayed with live updates
• Personal Highlight: Your position highlighted in green with ⭐ indicator
• Player Info: Shows name, avatar, and relevant stat for each filter
• Cloud-Based: All data stored in Firestore for persistent rankings
• Hidden Players: Admins can hide players from leaderboards for moderation

🔨 Ban & Hide System

Admin moderation tools for managing player accounts and maintaining game integrity.

• Temporary Bans: Ban players for specified duration (minutes); auto-expires
• Permanent Bans: Ban indefinitely with reason logged
• Ban Screen: Banned users see dedicated screen showing reason, duration, and when they can play
• Hide System: Hide players from leaderboards and public view without banning gameplay
• Audit Logging: All ban/hide actions persistently logged in Firestore with timestamps and admin identity
• Independent: Hiding players doesn't ban them and vice versa - separate moderation tools
• Appeal Tracking: Full audit trail of all moderation actions for transparency

💵 Currencies

Three currency types with different earning methods and uses.

• 💰 Cash: Main currency. Earned from clicking and units. Spent on units, upgrades, and equipment. Resets on prestige.
• ✨ Souls: Prestige currency earned via rebirth (sqrt(totalCash/100)). Buys permanent soul upgrades and enchantments. Persists across resets.
• 🏆 Gold: Achievement rewards (50-2500 gold per achievement). Used for special purchases and cosmetics.

Refund & Purchase Policy

We operate a transparent purchase policy so players know exactly what to expect before spending.

• No automatic refunds: All virtual goods have no cash value and are non-refundable, except where local law requires.
• Investigation window: Disputes must be reported within 7 days of purchase so we can review logs.
• Chargeback impact: Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended until the balance is cleared.
• Progress adjustments: If a refund is granted, Barrios INC may reverse items, currency, or stat changes tied to that purchase.
• Support priority: Verified receipts or order IDs help us respond faster.

Privacy & Data Handling

Refund Expectations

These rules protect players and the in-game economy when money changes hands.

• Virtual currency/items have no cash value and normally cannot be refunded.
• Chargebacks pause the involved account(s) until balances are resolved.
• Approved refunds may reverse items, stats, or other progress linked to that order.
• Provide verification (receipts, transaction IDs, screenshots) so we can audit faster.
• Local laws and platform policies always take precedence over these guidelines.

Terms of Service (Summary)

• License: Accounts, characters, and currency remain the property of Barrios INC and can change at any time.
• Security: Keep credentials safe and alert us about unauthorized access—you are responsible for activity on your profile.
• Virtual goods: Prices, balance, and availability may shift without notice; downtime may occur.
• Conduct: You must follow the Code of Conduct and applicable laws across all features.
• Staff tooling: Moderator/admin actions are logged; instructions from staff must be followed, and disputes stay in staff-only channels.
• Enforcement: We may suspend, ban, or delete accounts (even paid ones) with or without notice.
• Liability: The game is provided “as is.” Continued play after updates means you accept the newest version.

Code of Conduct (Summary)

• Respect citizens in every space (global chat, hospital, arena, support) and never post harassment or private info.
• Play fair—no exploits, automation, packet manipulation, or reverse engineering for advantage.
• Keep the community safe—no malicious links, threats, or explicit/minor-facing content.
• Protect the economy—no selling or bartering accounts, slots, or drops for real currency.
• Back the staff team—do not undermine moderator/admin directives in public; discuss disagreements privately.
• Understand enforcement—warnings, mutes, rollbacks, and permanent bans are all possible responses.
