How to moderate Real Wrld RPG

1. Stabilize and de-escalate

  • Research the player first – check audit log, chat scrollback, and their recent actions in profile.
  • Send calm reminders before punishing. Warn once for spam/off-topic, twice for harassment.
  • Mute chat instead of banning whenever behavior is temporary (heat-of-the-moment arguments).
  • Document every warning in audit notes to keep a paper trail.

2. Escalate when thresholds are met

  • Use 30–60 minute bans for repeat mutes, hate speech, impersonation, or DMs targeting staff.
  • Permanent bans require an admin reviewβ€”flag the case in #mod-support with timestamps.
  • Content violations (avatars, bios, names) should be reset immediately and logged.
  • Always include reason + evidence when escalating so admins can act quickly.

3. When to ping admins immediately

  • Threats of self-harm or harm to others.
  • Payment fraud, account selling, or data leaks.
  • Large-scale exploits (currency dupes, stat glitches, automation).
  • Any situation where another moderator disputes your actionβ€”loop an admin into the thread.

4. Clean execution checklist

  • Confirm the Target numeric ID matches the offending player.
  • Note length + reason before hitting confirm on bans, hides, or chat mutes.
  • Log what changed ("Reset avatar to default" or "Muted 60m for spam") so others can audit.
  • Follow up after actionβ€”if user appeals calmly, de-escalate and document outcome.

5. Tooling cheat sheet

  • Set the numeric ID onceβ€”every card (ban/mute/hide/warn) reads that same target.
  • Use the avatar modal to preview bios, recent avatars, and upload removals without leaving the profile.
  • Audit filters (search, action, timeframe, "active punishments") make it easy to answer player appeals.
  • Warnings live on the profile forever; log where it happened (chat, leaderboard, avatar) for fast recall.

Privacy & Data Handling

Information we collect

  • Accounts: Emails, display names, and provider IDs managed by Firebase Authentication.
  • Gameplay state: Stats, inventory, upgrades, chat, support tickets, and admin actions stored in Firestore.
  • Device + sessions: Browser details, timestamps, and fingerprinted sessions to prevent simultaneous logins.
  • Support content: Subjects, messages, and optional contact emails you submit.

How we use it

  • Operate idle income, combat, achievements, leaderboards, and admin tooling.
  • Sync progress between devices and support account recovery.
  • Investigate fraud, chargebacks, or policy violations.
  • Reply to support requests when contact info is provided.

Storage & sharing

  • Google Firebase hosts Auth, Firestore, and Storage as our cloud processor.
  • We do not sell player information; only the owner and trusted moderators can access records.
  • Audit logs track admin and moderation actions for accountability.
  • Data persists while an account stays active. Request deletion via Support at any time.

Your choices

  • Edit your profile, avatar, and progression directly in-game.
  • Request data export or deletion through a Support ticket.
  • Avoid sharing sensitive data in chat/support because it becomes part of the moderation record.
  • One active session per account keeps your progress secureβ€”log out on shared devices.

Children

Real Wrld RPG is not directed to children under 13. If a child’s info is discovered, we delete it promptly. Parents or guardians can contact Support for help.
